Sipat(praising,) one of the important genres in Balochi
folk poetry, commemorated several ways i.e. by praising lord in
(Chowgan), new born child and its mother in (Kaptuki), Rabb
(Cherisher) in (Labi Sipat), and Mentor in (Hash o Jintar Sipat)
according to its types in time and place.
This paper aims to discuss certain aspects of different
types of (Sipat) in detail with commemorating time and place,
focusing oral traditions, popular beliefs, folk poetry and history
in Balochi folk poetry
